Our History
So Relaxing Hot Tub Hire is a family business and was born out of Covid 19 world changes .
With over 25 years experience in Customer Service / The rental Market and Logistics, this sets us up to ensure we provide the best experience for our customers .
With a redundancy behind us and a lot of research and a couple of Tubs - we were off. Taking every opportunity to develop our products and learn everything we could, we have taken the fleet from 3 up to 24 in the first 12 months and looking to ever adapt and develop .
Our Customers are the most important thing about our business so we endeavour to make everyones experience the best we can.
For peace of mind we are fully insured and have undertaken Water Treatment Training by BISHTA (The British & Irish Hot Tub Association) to ensure the experience we provide follows all safety protocols are met and surpassed for our customers. This is essential whenever you hire a hot tub.
From a Hen do to a wedding party to just because you deserve it, we will strive to help you make the most of your experience .

Answers to Common Questions
How Much Space do we need ?
Most Tubs are no greater than 2x2 metres round / square . If you would like a gazebo we require a space 3x3 m ( this can be across varying levels of ground).
Does it need to be left on at all times ?
For the tub to maintain heat and stay clean - Yes .
How long does it take to heat?
The tubs will heat at approx 1 degree an hour so depends on starting temp.
Winter - start temp 7 degrees ash .
Summer - start temp 20 degrees ish.
How hot do the Tubs Go?
All the tubs we use heat up to 40 degrees. Hot hot.
How is the hot tub filled ?
Usually from a cold water tap in the garden or an internal tap - we can hot fill to get to temperature quicker if we can access a hot tap.
How long is set up?
We allow 1.5 hours for a set up - to get us to the point where we can set everything up and turn the tub on and show you the controls . This is relative to your water pressure . We leave you to turn the water off once the tub is at the correct level roughly 2-3 hours.
When will the tub be delivered ?
The tubs are delivered the day prior to use so we have ample time to get them up to temperature for you - for a weekend hire we deliver on a Thursday to ensure you can use them on a Friday.
What surface can the tub go on?
We can put the tub on most surfaces . grass / fake grass / patio / decking - ( as long as is structurally sound). Not on stones !!
How many people can fit in the tubs?
We have over 20 tubs of differing shapes / sizes to accommodate all gardens and parties . Generally the tubs are 4-6 persons but we do have 2-4 persons and 5-7 persons on fleet , just let us know which would best suit your needs on bookings.
How do you empty the tubs ?
We use a submersible pump to empty the tubs and have 30 metres of pipe to get to the closest drain .
How do you clean the tubs ?
The tubs are cleaned using a biofilm cleaner in between hires as well as washed out at the end and beginning of each hire. At the beginning of all hires the tubs are dosed with a commissioning / shock dose of chlorine to ensure a sanitary start to all hires.
Are you insured ?
We have public Liability up to £5 million for your peace of mind.
What training do you hold?
The most important thing to us is you our customer so we have undertaken as many courses as possible we currently hold Covid 19 Practices in Business Certification and most importantly have Accreditation from BISHTA ( The British & Irish Spa & Hot Tub Association)in Water Treatment Training.
How much will it cost to run?
There is not a generic answer to this as everyones usage and electric will be different. The pumps are 2.2 kw for reference. I would expect a weekend hire with high usage to cost around £30 if you had a payg account. If you pay quarterly it will get lost in the bill.
